Essential Oils Plus
The days are getting shorter, and cold & flu season is just around the corner. We need to think about our physical and mental health. .Here are some wonderful oils that you can put into a diffuser or make a roller bottle blend to use..
However we want to always use them safely as essential oils are powerful
When used properly they are an incredible resource
Never use undiluted
Lime Oil often ignored and overlooked this sparkly, and irresistibly fruity oil smells just like a freshly squeezed lime!
check to see if your lime oil is cold pressed or steam distilled as cold pressed is phototoxic.
The natural components present in lime oil, including d-limonene, have been shown to support a healthy immune response.
D-limonene (found largely in your citrus oils) does this in a few ways: purifying the environment (use it for natural cleaning!) and inspiring joy so negative energy can't hang around.

Nutmeg oil is chock-full of components, including the rarely occurring myristicin, that can comfort achy areas.
Myristicin helps make nutmeg oil a must-have when your muscles and joints need extra attention—especially during cold weather. Nutmeg oil can bring warmth and relief to sore spots. Myristicin also plays a big role in nutmeg’s irresistible sweet, spicy, woody scent!
Did you know that Turmeric essential oil is a popular ingredient in natural perfumes?
Its deep, base aroma makes it a great “fixative.” This means that it encourages other aromas to linger longer, and helps to stabilize the overall scent of the blend.
I love the way that this “talent” seems to echo one of Turmeric essential oil’s emotional benefits for us—it’s known to offer emotional balance and a sense of surety. It’s “cousins” Cardamom and Ginger are used to inspire feelings of confidence, and Turmeric does the same . . . but in its own special way. If Cardamom and Ginger give you courage and energy to accomplish your goals, Turmeric works in the more quiet moments to instill a deep sense of self-worth in your heart—the kind that becomes a part of you.
Golden Woods Perfume
10 ml jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis)
6 drops Cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana)
4 drops Siberian Fir (Abies sibirica)
3 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
3 drops Turmeric (Curcuma longa)
Make this blend in a 10 ml roller-top bottle. Pour the jojoba into the bottle, add the essential oils, and snap the roller-top into place.
I want to give you a “tool” for personalizing this blend, if you like. Instead of adding all of the essential oils at the same time, add them “drop by drop.” Pour your jojoba into the 10 ml bottle, then add a single drop of Turmeric. Then add one of Cedarwood, one of Siberian Fir, and one of Lavender. Now your bottle has a single drop of each oil.
Smell your blend and ask yourself which oil you want to add more of.
Keep track of how many drops you add on a piece of paper, so you can replicate your perfume once it is just right! Aim for about 15 drops of essential oil total.
